Kevin Pieterson Got out for 32


Kevin Pietersen, The English batsman succumbed for 32 after tea break on the first day of the second Ashes test against Australia on Thursday.

Pietersen was playing in a new way. He was trying to do something in strategic way but he was caught behind off Peter Siddle shortly after tea. England was 267 for three with captain Andrew Strauss on 102.

*Strauss has completed his 18th test century and third century against Australia in the last over before tea break. He did it at 178 balls with 15 fours.

Flintoff is getting retirement after Ashes


English all rounder Flintoff announced that, he is going to take retire from the five-day game after Ashes series.
He said: "I believe we may see players' careers getting shorter."
Flintoff was passed fit to play in the second Ashes Test at Lord's after having injections in his knee.
Flintoff is hopeful that he would be able to play one day cricket for four more years after having the retirement from Test match.
The 31-year-old's right knee, which had recently been operated on, swelled during the first Test against Australia at Cardiff and he had to have pain-killing injections in order to be able to start in London.
